The Gulf Coast Consortia is grateful to those who, through the years, have provided support to its interdisciplinary training and research programs.
The W. M. Keck Foundation provided the initial support in 1990 to form the Keck Center, which later became the GCC's training arm. The W. M. Keck Foundation extended its generous support in 2001 with a grant to form the Gulf Coast Consortia. At critical points during the expansion of the GCC and Keck Center, continued growth was made possible through contributions from the John S. Dunn Research Foundation.
The GCC's operations is funded by an annual contribution from its member institutions.
