    2012 Oversight Committee

    The Gulf Coast Consortia (GCC) Oversight Committee, the consortia's governing body, is comprised of member institution representatives appointed by the institution president, typically a direct report, such as the Executive VP of Research or Chief Academic Officer, or faculty leaders.  Non-voting members are the Chair of the Keck Center Executive Committee, the GCC Research Consortia Chair, the Executive Director of the Keck Center, the GCC Research Consortia Coordinator, and the Past Chair  of the GCC Oversight Committee. In addition to providing strategic direction, governance and operational guidance for the GCC, this group provides formal approval for new consortium start-up and, through the institutional roles of its members, insures alignment of consortium interests with the strategic interests of GCC member institutions.
